Punch ‘Em Good

Emily is a second-generation settler with family ties to Vietnam. Having grown up in the unceded territory of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.. she developed a love for ecology and nature in childhood that led to degrees in Natural Resources Conservation and Resource Management. Her textile art is a reflection of where she finds joy – in plants, family, food, and the culture of the community(ies) she calls home.
