I’m Marissa Schiesser, a painter, collage and textile artist living on Coast Salish territory in Vancouver, BC. Imagination, environment and community are woven into my creative story and offerings.

I offer original artwork and prints to uplift any space with pops of colour and unexpected elements and detail.

Flowers’ bold and delicate aspects inspire abstract floral paintings created by my imagination. Each unique artwork is painted with great detail and a light texture of watercolour and gouache soaked paintbrush strokes.

Invite unexpected elements of surprise into your home with original hand-created collage artwork. I hand-cut found images and arrange them into unexpected compositions. Playing with colour, form and texture to create new images out of something they are not.
